I want you to know that when I make little proofreader’s comments they are meant to be helpful and are not at all judgmental. However, I grew up under constant gaslighting and abuse and I well know how psychological trauma can mess with you — for example, even all these decades later I cannot seem to change the fact that I experience great distress at being asked any question I do not know the answer to, no matter how ridiculous.
